Helen stepped on this path herself during a health crisis nearly 30 years ago. The most important thing she learnt was the power of what you decide to do for yourself: she commits to fully supporting you in this endeavour.
During this time, a personal daily meditation practise has been one of the most useful and effective tools she has incorporated into her life. Starting with an intensive practise of Macrobiotic diet, shiatsu and yoga, Helen’s own life and health changed for the better.
Amazed and awed with the positive and remarkable changes she experienced, she decided to help others achieve the wellness she has found. First studying naturopathic principles in complementary medicine; chi gung, meditation and physical therapies - to which she was particularly drawn to their interlinking energetic principles of Chi/Ki/Prana and vital force, which is central to her practise.
Today, Helen believes more than ever in the power of natural medicine and hands-on energetic treatment to restore one’s health and happiness. She delivers many different modalities: Meditation, Reflexology (feet and face), Indian head massage, Nutrition, Reiki, Thia and Tui-na massage and Iridology, all within this naturopathic base.
One of Helen’s big loves is her work in pregnancy (pre-conception and pre and post natal), and with clients affected by stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia and addiction. For over a decade she worked in the substance misuse field and with families affected by both addiction and mental health issues.
It’s the highlight of her day when she helps someone experience a happier and healthier life and seeing them walk through the door: choosing to activate their own healing and take back their power.
Helen’s intention is always to connect with her clients on an embodied and immersive level - both holding space for them to let go of what they don’t need and to draw what they do: enabling their body to let go of stress and find ground, balance and re-establish ease.
Sleep, digestion, and stress levels are routinely improved as well as a reduction in symptoms such as migraines, headaches, bloating, constipation, IBS, tinnitus and physical muscle tension.
She also recommends points for clients to use between treatments to reinforce and help them work with presenting issues such as emotional stability, anxiety, racing mind, insomnia, digestive issues and muscle tension.
Helen offers treatments at The Life Centre in Nottinghill as well as home visits.
